Our Story

Shoalhaven Plan Management (SPM) was founded in 2018 by Karen Gifford. She has worked along the NSW South Coast for 20 years, raising her family and working in finance and disabilities.

We’ve since grown from a small local business affected by the 2019/20 NSW bushfires and floods, to an established team who provides NDIS Registered plan management services Australia-Wide and are an active member of Disability Intermediaries Australia.

With over 35 years of combined experience, our team is passionate about helping NDIS participants and their families reach their goals.

While we’re based in Shoalhaven, our support extends across the NSW South Coast and beyond!

We currently have clients in areas such as Wollongong, Shellharbour, Nowra, Batemans Bay, Southern Highlands, Illawarra, Bowral, Narooma, Moruya, and Bomaderry.

But no matter where you live – in metro or rural areas, in TAS or WA – we’ll proudly guide you through the NDIS.

What we do

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) can be confusing and overwhelming. As a registered NDIS provider with 35+ years of combined experience, our highly-skilled staff will guide you through your NDIS journey. We don’t just pay your NDIS invoices, we provide professional support, information and tools to easily manage your funds and supports. Shoalhaven Plan Management are solely plan managers – we’re not aligned with other services. Our Australia-wide guidance is independent, free of bias and dedicated to helping YOU.

We love helping people get the best out of their NDIS funding and achieve their goals. With SPM, you’ll work closely with support coordinators to gain the best outcome for your needs. Our flexible and personalised services allow you to choose as little or as much involvement as you like: let us handle all your invoice-related admin, or alternatively review, approve or decline invoices prior to payment. By accessing our real-time portal, you’ll be able to easily track your spending and NDIS funds. We’ll send you monthly reports and be available to help whenever you need. SPM takes the stress and worry out of navigating the NDIS, leaving you to focus on the more important things in life.
